Event Description:

We will meet your group and preview the trip. Time will be spent fitting gear and a comprehensive lesson will be covered. You will trek on our easy to use snowshoes through Tahoe's peaceful, wintry forest. As we travel by moonlight, our knowledgeable guides will discuss Natural History and Astronomy topics as well as fascinating facts about our moon. We will also stop under the moon or in the alpenglow to take in the beautiful views and enjoy snacks and hot drinks! This unique trip is popular with all levels of nature enthusiasts. Be sure to grab your cameras, as the views are spectacular!

Typical Distance: 2-4 miles
Level of Difficulty: Easy to Moderate. All activity levels welcome. Ages 8 and up.
