The course will have students comfortable in their looms, with a broad understanding of how woven structures function. Students will learn about body awareness, selvedge correctness, adding yarn to weft stick, and efficiency in the loom. Class includes back strap loom, weaving belt, yarns, and anchor lasso that will be yours to take home at the end of the workshop. Ages (16+) All levels - beginners welcome!

In addition to this class, there will be a special guest teacher, Albertina Lopez Cumez. She will be joining this class to give first hand insight to her culture and weaving from the highlands of Guatemala.
