With all the crazy hurricanes and earthquakes how will that affect us this winter? The first part of the presentation will talk about what to expect this winter in Tahoe.
Once it snows its time to ski! The decisions you make while backcountry skiing are one of the biggest factors in avalanche incidents. Avalanche professionals from Sierra Avalanche Center and Tahoe Mountain School will talk about how to problem solve real life winter situations. Then there will be break out sessions with maps so you can plan your ski tours and discuss safe choices.
