Donner Pass Snow Park Area

Donner Summit and Donner Pass Snow Park Area can be very popular locations for all sorts of snow enthusiasts to get a taste of our Sierra winters. Check out parking at the California Sno-Park and make sure to purchase a pass. This area and parking lot can get full by mid morning so get here early for the best options. Cross country skiing, snowshoeing and even some access to sledding can be found from here. The sledding is adjacent to the parking area while the trails are accessed by a short walk to the north side of the freeway and offer a variety of distances and mild elevation gain.
