Dr. Abby Ferguson is a licensed Clinical Psychologist (license #PSY24345) with a doctorate in psychology. She specializes in working with children and families, and also has extensive experience working with adults. For the last 6 years, Abby has worked in a therapeutic day school with children struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, learning disabilities, grief & loss and Autism. During this time, Abby was not only able to work with children and families but also worked directly with school districts on IEP's as well as with teachers and school staff to implement interventions in the classroom setting. She has provided trainings for teachers and parents to help them increase their awareness of and ability to work with children with different learning profiles and
emotional and behavioral struggles in the school setting.
Abby will be seeing clients all throughout the Truckee and Tahoe community, not just students who attend Clever Minds. She is a valuable resource, a fresh new face, and will begin seeing clients in January 2018.
