OneJustice Bus Visits Truckee

On April 9, the Family Resource Center of Truckee (FRC of Truckee) hosted a visit from the OneJustice Bus. The bus brought 14 law students and 5 Immigration attorneys who helped more than 30 local community members with Naturalization applications for US Citizenship and other immigration programs through one-on-one consultations.

Bilingual community members from the Family Resource Center of Truckee, La Fuerza Latina (TTUSD college prep club), and Promatoras (Peer Educators) from North Tahoe FRC served as volunteer interpreters. The FRC of Truckee’s Tahoe-Truckee Mediation and Legal Assistance Program coordinated and hosted this event as well as the OneJustice Bus visit in October, 2015.
