ASCTC’s ski and snowboard programs have been introducing children to the joy and excitement of winter sports for decades. In fact, many of ASCTC’s coaches grew up skiing here themselves. This year there have been some additions to the Alpine offerings, including a Comp/Devo team for serious Alpine racers ages ten to eighteen competing in Tahoe League and Far West divisions. On the Snowboard side, there are nine different program choices serving beginning riders all the way up to World Cup level athletes.
The increasingly popular ASCTC Biathlon program, directed by former Olympian Glenn Jobe, trains biathletes age 10 and up with Youth, Junior and Senior/Masters divisions, as well as clinics and races throughout the season open to the general public.
All winter programs and the 25km Cross Country center are open to the public. With inexpensive day use rates and season pass prices of only $45 for youth, $75 for Seniors and only $129 for adults, skiers can enjoy the longest Nordic season and best grooming in the region.
