Event Description:
Truckee River Winery is excited to announce our 7th Annual Wine n' Ice carving competition as a part of North Lake Tahoe Snowfest on March 8, 2017 in benefit of the Truckee River Watershed Council!

For the first time ever, registration is FREE for this event. Ten competitors will be given the chance to sculpt 300lb blocks of ice into gorgeous, alluring, and awe-inspiring sculptures. This year's carving competition will be centered around a theme and each sculpture must be inspired by the Truckee River and what it means to you.

Participants much register by February 20, 2017 to participate. The Top 3 contestants will win an assortment of prizes and the Grand Prize Winner will receive a trophy, a vertical of Truckee River Winery Pinot Noir, and more! Participants must be 18 years or older and provide their own carving tools. 

The main attraction will be the ice carving competition, but guests will also be able to enjoy a glass of wine, special treats from various local eateries, a local DJ, and many fun outdoor winter games.
