Join HeyChef! for an exclusive, behind-the-scenes experience for six community members to dine while participating in a live chef cooking interview.

Space is extremely limited: Only six seats are available. Guests are selected/invited based on an email you send us that includes why you want to attend and how being a part of this cooking-vetting-dining experience can benefit you, your clients, or support HeyChef! in the community. We want attendees who value connection, creativity, and mutual benefit.

Promptness is essential. Must arrive at 5:45 pm. Dinner tasting begins exactly at 6:00 pm and cannot be delayed.
Expect the unexpected:

• The chef candidate is a surprise
• The private home location (in Truckee) is a surprise
• The menu is a surprise - Guests should be adventurous eaters and open to new flavors and experiences. Please let us know in your email of any allergies or restrictions.

This rare opportunity let's you see how HeyChef! evaluates talent applying to join our team. Chefs have to cook dinner for 8 as part of their interview process, so we need community members to fill sits and eat their food!. All chefs at this stage have been vetted but must pass the cooking stage to earn a role on our team. This gives you a fun and delicious insider's look at our strategic processes and high service standards.

FREE* = Please bring a beverage to share with the table and a cash tip for the chef to help them offset their costs of time and groceries.

Dress photo-ready, please (we use images for social media). After the meal and cleanup HeyChef! conducts a post-cooking eval with the chef, so feel free to enjoy the experience and head out! No Cancellations- Your attendance, once confirmed, is extremely valuable and plays a key role in fairly assessing the chef's cooking and serving skills. Come hungry, curious, and ready for a one-of-a-kind community dining adventure!
