Many of us have been experiencing the challenges of maintaining homeowners insurance with the increase in wildfire risk over the past few years. The California Insurance Commission is working to mitigate this issue with a new program, "Safer from Wildfires." Join us on April 21 for a salon hosted by Forest Futures and the Mountain Housing Council with 5 speakers who will tell us more about this program and the discounts available for home hardening efforts.
