Awards Reception: Don't Be Afraid of the Dark Photo Contest

Celebrate the beauty of our dark skies at the Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark Photo Contest Awards Reception. This community event showcases 40 finalist images selected from 138 submissions, honoring local photographers who captured everything from sweeping Milky Way landscapes to creative starlit scenes.
 

The reception is made possible through the collaboration of the Town of Truckee, Truckee Cultural District, Nevada County Arts Council, Nevada City, and Tahoe Forest Health System.
