Braided Rug Weaving - Morning

Learn a fun and easy  "no-sew, no-tools" technique of braided rug weaving. A satisfyingly utilitarian project to burn through your scrap pile or repurpose old clothing. You will learn how to prepare fabric for weaving, get a solid start on making your own rug and gain confidence to finish it at home. This approach is perfect for those looking to begin a low pressure, therapeutic hobby. An overview of other rag-rug techniques and histories will accompany this hands on session. All materials will be provided and students can take home enough fabric to finish their project. Ages 12+
