This month’s Truckee Climate Hub meeting features five Tahoe Basin CivicSpark Fellows. CivicSpark is an AmeriCorps program that connects early-career professionals to roles in the public sector to build local capacity for climate change, water resources, and housing affordability challenges. You’ll learn about the projects they’ve been working on in the Tahoe region during their 11-month fellowship.

Speakers include: Kristina Weldon, Sierra Business Council, energy efficiency upgrades for rural public agencies Abi Lloyd, South Tahoe Public Utilities District, asset management projects Emilie Comer, South Tahoe Public Utilities District, water conservation programs Anika Kimme, Town of Truckee, affordable housing projects Alex Workman, Town of Truckee, Keep Truckee Green initiatives.

TRUCKEE CLIMATE HUB Join the Truckee Climate Hub Social every first Wednesday. Connect with professionals in energy, renewables, and climate. Featuring guest speakers monthly, it's a platform fostering collaboration and sustainability. An initiative of Lift, it supports social enterprises, contributing to Truckee's vibrant and sustainable future.
