What does the future of snow look like in the Sierra? We will dive into the science and realities of snow in a changing climate. This conversation will shed light on how our winters are evolving. It’s an important look at how snow shapes our environment, economy, and way of life. Learn how these shifts affect our region and why they matter to our mountain community.

Our expert speakers are

Ian Bolliger and Anne Nolin with POW (Protect Our Winters)

Andrew Schwartz, Ph.D. Director of Central Sierra Snow Laboratory

David Reichel, Executive Director of Sierra Avalanche Center

And our Nonprofit spotlight will be the Shane McConkey Foundation
