Felted Birds

FELTING WORKSHOP:  BIRDS
This workshop introduces the technique known as 'dry felting' in which fleece fibers are turned into objects using a barbed needle. In this class, we will focus on creating a bird, first by making a basic shape using white fleece and felting needles. Once the body and head are formed, we will embellish them with colored fleece to create the beautiful bird of your choice, either realistic or flight of fancy! Once our bird is ready, we will construct and attach legs to help the bird either stand or perch to fit your decor. Ages 16+.
