Speakers: Michael Reitzell, President of the California Ski Industry Association (CSIA); Daphne Lange, Consumer Advertising Manager, Visit California.
Michael Reitzell will provide information on what's new at CSIA, industry, skier and rider trends and demographics. CSIA supports the industry through government advocacy. They ensure legislators consider the industry perspective on issues affecting mountain communities and businesses.
Daphne Lange will discuss the importance of California's ski and board industry and share research showing the boost accommodations and restaurants in the High Sierra receive as a result of their efforts. She will outline the digital California Snow Campaign, and show TV spots highlighting the California brand.
