For April's Good Morning Truckee we are celebrating the Arts with Truckee Cultural District. We will hear from community artists committed to strengthening Truckee's thriving arts community. From art access to education, come join us and learn more about how you can get more involved!
Our speakers will include a representative from Truckee Cultural District, Karyn Stanley with Truckee Roundhouse, and Callie Martin, art teacher at Truckee High School.
Good Morning Truckee is a community forum to provide timely, relevant information on a variety of topics. It is open to the public – everyone is invited. It is held the third Tuesday of every month at Truckee Town Hall from 7:45-9:15 a.m. Good Morning Truckee is offered in person and is recorded for viewing at a later date if you are unable to attend in person. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and the program starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. Ticket price for the general public is $15 and $10 for Truckee Chamber members and includes a continental breakfast and ticket for a chance to win a door prize new for 2024: bring your business card that will act a ticket for a chance to win a door prize.
These events are very popular and great for meeting other community members. Whether you are new or have lived here for years, hearing from our leaders in the community is an enjoyable way to stay on top of important issues, connect and engage. One of the great things about living in a small community like Truckee is that you can personally know your leaders and work with them to make a difference.
