Good Morning Truckee kicks off 2018 January 9th with a program focusing on Truckee youth and “The Power of Connections.”
A lot of great things are happening at the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District (TTUSD) and Superintendent Chief Learning Officer Rob Leri will provide an update on the award-winning school district’s accomplishments and all of TTUSD’s educational programs. He will also give an update on the facility upgrades underway and how TTUSD is saving taxpayers over $122 million in tax payments! The theme for this school year is “The Power of Connections" which sums up how TTUSD approaches each school day.
The Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe has been a cornerstone of the North Lake Tahoe community since opening its doors in 1998. Serving 1,500 youth annually, the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe provides a safe, structured and positive environment for young people before and after school, during holidays and summer vacations. Mindy Carbajal, Chief Executive Officer of the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe will provide an update on how they are expanding their youth programs in Truckee.

Good Morning Truckee is open to the public – everyone is invited. It is held the second Tuesday of every month at Truckee Tahoe Airport from 7:00-8:30am. Ticket price for general public is $12; Truckee Chamber members $10 and includes a hot breakfast and raffle ticket.
