Intro to Natural Dyeing

What are the colors that are found in your kitchen? Working with kitchen scraps and materials, this class will introduce you to the basic of dyeing with natural plants and materials. We’ll cover fabric/fibers, preparing a dye bath, as well as how and where to considerately source dye material. By the end of the day, you’ll have set of naturally dyed linen napkins and a primer on how to start your own exploration of colors in and around your home. Ages 16+.
