Event Description:
The lawn next to West Shore Café is the perfect setting to listen to classical music and enjoy the sunset over Lake Tahoe. Maestro Timm Rolek will lead the Academy Orchestra with compositions inspired by Italian life. Highlighted will be an Italian Opera with music by Rossini, Mozart, and Verdi featuring clarinetist Daniel Gilbert - plus a new work, Variations on Theme by Paganini, by local composer and Lake Tahoe Music Festival board member, David Wendell Nelson.
