Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM PDT
Event Description:
Join our beginner crochet class led by crochet pro and eco-enthusiast Kelli Scott of Small Action Co.

The "Emily" crochet top is a great, simple pattern for beginner crochet artists. This workshop includes instruction, a crochet hook, and your choice of soft, colorful Small Action Co. limited eco-yarn selection, including their new spandex material.

All Small Action Co. yarn has been made from reclaimed textile waste material - perfectly usable fabric transformed from "waste" into fun, durable "fabric spaghetti" just for you!

All skill levels are welcome!

The story of Small Action Co.
While researching sustainable textiles, Tahoe Bikini Project designer Kelli Scott partnered with Robert Varela of Sunshine Trims, a studio in Manhattan's garment district that was producing fabric spaghetti on a large scale for clothing companies.
Together, they transformed an enormous mountain of poly-blend fabric discards into crafting material—chunky-weight yarn—now sold under the Small Action Co. label.
This eco-friendly yarn helps reduce plastic pollution by inspiring crafters and small businesses to use reclaimed materials. The sturdy material is also perfect for beginners learning to crochet storage bins, planter baskets, and bags.
