Loom Weaving

Learn how to weave your own unique masterpiece as we learn many different surface texture techniques on a basic weavers table loom, to create a very personalized wall hanging for yourself or a special gift. The day will be full of color, inspiration, and unique weaving explorations. Students will learn how to warp a loom, plain weave, rya knots, soumak, loop pile and how to add embellishments to their wall hanging, as well as weave with many different types of fiber and rovings. All students will take home their very own tabletop, fully assembled wooden loom, shuttle and comb. This class includes a 1/2 hour lunch break. Ages 14+. If you choose to bring your own loom, please make sure it is the same loom we use in-class and select the option below.
