Come hear about the Council's first year progress and what the Council is working on next, including discussion panels and a solutions pitch.
Topics will include: development impact fees, a newly created regional opportunity map that identifies possible sites for new housing, the Council's Achievable Local Housing Policy Recommendation being adopted by regional agencies, the impact of short-term rentals on the housing crisis, and possible solutions.
A solutions pitch gives community members an opportunity to pitch possible housing solutions to the audience. The Council will select and support an idea that generates enough interest to form a cohort to explore the viability of that solution.
