Event Description:
In August, local entrepreneurs learned how to pitch their businesses by participating in Tahoe Pitch Camp, a free, 3-class series presented by Tahoe Silicon Mountain and the Sierra Business Council.

Six entrepreneurs who participated in Tahoe Pitch Camp will be selected to present their innovative companies and ideas at the Tahoe Pitch Showcase during 5-minute pitches.

Each entrepreneur will take questions from the audience and the panel of expert judges:
  • Josh Miller, EVP, GM Americas at Zapper
  • Dick Schulze, Attorney at Law, Holland & Hart
  • Hannah Sullivan, Investment Advisor, Emerald Bay Wealth Management
The event will conclude with voting and a winner will be chosen by the judges.....and by YOU.

The Tahoe Pitch Showcase will be on Monday, September 11th, 6-8 pm at Pizza on the Hill, in Tahoe Donner at 11509 Northwoods Blvd., Truckee. A $5 fee includes pizza and salad. Before and after the presentations, there will be time for networking.

Tahoe Silicon Mountain is a monthly networking group for people that live, work or vacation in the Truckee/Tahoe/Reno area. Most of our members are involved in the tech industry or are small business owners. Our typical topics of discussion are technology, startups, local businesses, our communities and the environment. All presentations are educational in nature. The event is livestreamed, recorded, and available on our website and local cable TV channel.
