New Year's Eve Light Parade and Fireworks at Tahoe Donner

Come join the Tahoe Donner community for a fun, family-friendly celebration to ring in the New Year at Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. After a great day on the mountain, enjoy the popular Light Parade followed by the annual Fireworks Show. Warm up next to the outdoor fire pits and enjoy hot toddies, hot cocoa, and more. Stick around for the fireworks and help us ring in the new year!

Light Parade (NEW - online registration required for participants):

• A fun event for intermediate skiers and riders ages 10 or older who can ski or ride unassisted in the dark on our Race Course Run.
• Participants must register online. Those who are NOT participating in the light parade do not need to register.
• Participants may check in at the ski area from 4:30 to 6PM. Participants MUST check in no later than 6PM and be ready to load onto the chairlift at 6:15PM. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate participants that arrive late.
• Minimal parking may be available due to recent storms. Please plan to arrive early.
• Fireworks will be right after the light parade finishes.

Fireworks:

• The spectacular fireworks show will follow shortly after the Light Parade.
• No registration required for fireworks.
• The fireworks can be seen throughout the association beyond just the Downhill Ski Resort – such as at the outdoor fire pits at Alder Creek Cafe!
