Jerry Blackwill is president of the Truckee Donner Railroad Society and acting chair of the new Museum of Truckee History. He has done research, written articles, and made presentations about the transcontinental railroad, the Truckee to Lake Tahoe railroad, and the areas logging railroads. He also teaches economics at Truckee’s Sierra College. Previously he was board president of the Sierra State Parks Foundation.
