Event Description:

Join the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, Town of Truckee, and Sierra Community House for this quarter's Town Talk - Resources for Employers Navigating Immigration Issues. Local non-profit Sierra Community House will be joined by a labor attorney to walk attendees through an employer “Know Your Rights” presentation and take questions from chamber and community members. Understand employer rights and liabilities in the context of inspections and enforcement actions from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)

This open and welcoming session invites attendees to ask questions, share real-world experiences, and walk away with practical knowledge. Whether you're an employer navigating compliance, a manager leading a diverse team, or a community member seeking clarity on immigration rights, this is your opportunity to learn, connect, and leave with actionable insights.

This event is designed to promote understanding and provide reliable information for all attendees. Bring your questions and join the conversation!

Coffee and light snacks will be provided.

Town Talks are free to the whole community. To learn more and register, visit truckee.com or contact Jessica Penman, President and CEO of the Truckee Chamber of Commerce, at jessica@truckee.com.
