Trails & Vistas' Art Hikes

Described as magical, diverse and inspiring, Trails & Vistas’ Art Hikes are a fusion of art experiences and forest immersion. Art Hike attendees are led by an experienced guide, and hike in small groups pausing at art performance installations. Each Art Hike tour is designed to connect to the wonders of nature through performance installations.

This year's theme, Beyond the Veil, invites participants to step out of reality and into a waking dream. Featuring award-winning musicians, dancers, poets, visual and installation artists, the 2025 Art Hikes encourages attendees to slow down, step away from the everyday world, breathe deeply and embrace their youthful selves. The 2025 Art Hikes walk along a 2.8 mile single track trail (rated moderate) through meadows and pine forests at the Royal Gorge XC Ski Resort.
