Truckee Chamber - Lunch and Learn - Mental Health in the Workplace: How to Support Your Employees When It Matters Most

Join us this April for an important and practical Lunch & Learn designed for business owners, managers, and team leaders who want to better support the well-being of their employees. This session will focus on building confidence and providing real-world tools to help navigate mental health in the workplace—without the expectation of being an expert.

We’ll explore simple, effective ways employers can create a supportive work environment, recognize when someone may be struggling, and engage in thoughtful, supportive conversations. Attendees will also gain insight into available resources and referral pathways, including substance use support and the Substance Use Navigator role at TTUSD.

Additionally, we’ll discuss what support can look like following a difficult situation, while maintaining appropriate and healthy workplace boundaries.

As a lead-in to Mental Health Awareness Month in May, this session will leave you feeling more prepared, informed, and equipped to support your team when it matters most.
