Historic Downtown Truckee comes alive during this colorful tour which includes stories of railroad barons, lumber mills, ice harvesting, movie stars, and other characters past. Pass by unique shops and restaurants while learning about Truckee’s famous and infamous past. The tour includes architecture, history, stories, fables, and facts.

What: free Truckee guided historical walking tour Meeting place: outside the Truckee Welcome Center at the Train Station, 10065 Donner Pass Rd, Truckee, CA 96161 Duration: about 1.5 hours Distance: less than 1 mile on a flat path. Ending location: Brickelltown
Price: Free, however gratuities are gratefully accepted. Other information: Please be aware of paid parking in downtown Truckee.
