Get ready for an unforgettable free literary experience at the April 5 Truckee Literary Crawl, where an eclectic mix of authors will showcase the richness of storytelling across multiple genres.
The event kicks off at 1 p.m. at the Truckee Artist Lofts’ 9848 Gallery. The event continues with readings at downtown locations from 2 to 5 p.m. with poetry, fiction, storytelling, children's authors, non-fiction and more from 48 creatives. All events are free.
In the evening, the event will feature a Dark Skies Open Mic Night at Alibi Truckee for all literary forms - poetry, prose, songwriting, etc. - for works created around a Dark Sky theme hosted by Nevada County Poet Laureate Karen Terrey from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event is produced by Priya Hutner and Katherine Hill of the Tahoe Literary Festival and is sponsored by Nevada County Arts Council, Truckee Cultural District, Truckee Core Values Fund, The Seasoned Sage and Tahoe Guide.
