Event Description:
Join the Railroad Society for a walking tour of historic railroad sites in downtown Truckee. We'll point out the locations of the 1882 granite roundhouse, passenger depot, freight depot, SP hotel, Hobart Southern track and buildings, and the Lake Tahoe Railway track, plus a few non-railroad buildings and local railroad history.
Location:
Roundhouse Way and Donner Pass Rd Extension, near the rotary snowplow.
