Truckee Veterans Day Ceremony

Honoring the veterans who have graciously served in the U.S. Armed Forces, the Town of Truckee’s annual ceremony will take place at 11:00 a.m. at the Eagle Monument on the corner of Spring Street and Donner Pass Road. 

Mayor Jan Zabriskie will speak about the significance of this event in our community. David West II, Nevada County Veterans Service Officer, will be the keynote speaker. 

Live music will be provided by Mountain Belles. 

After the ceremony, the American Legion Post 439 will host a free lunch for veterans and their families with food graciously provided by Wagon Train Coffee Shop at Veterans Hall at 10214 High Street.

We hope to see everyone there as we join in celebration of our wonderful veterans and their families.
