The Sierra State Parks Foundation is hosting a virtual auction October 15th through December 6th in support of the Lake Tahoe-Donner Lake California state parks. This auction is an important fundraiser and offers unique gifts and experiences only found during this event. The End of the Year Auction comes just in time for holiday gift shopping and will host exclusive, unique private items. Some items for bid are original artwork by Andy Skaff, private wine and tour tastings at Vikingsholm, and much more. There is something unique and exciting for all members of the family!

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, the Sierra State Parks Foundation was unable to host annual summer fundraising events nor open Vikinghsolm and the Hellman-Ehrman Estate for tours this season. The proceeds from this auction will allow the Foundation to have the required capital to prepare for summer operations in 2021 and resiliency to complete its mission of supporting the parks through restoration projects and education programs, to enrich visitors’ experiences and connect visitors to the area’s rich cultural heritage and natural resources. Donations of auction items and experiences are still being accepted and greatly appreciated.
