The monthly Sierra Speaker Series connects folks to the rich cultural and natural history of the area. Join us on September 17th at Donner Memorial State Park Visitor Center to learn and engage! Alice Osborn is an author, singer-songwriter, and Americana/folk musician whose most recent album is Skirts in the Snow?story songs from the women of the Donner Party. Alice is also in the final stages of completing The Reluctant Cannibal: a Donner Party novel that takes place in three different time periods?1846-47, 1859, and 1900?featuring William Eddy, Georgia Donner, and Nellie Eddy Anderson, William Eddy?s only surviving daughter.
