Lead Recruiter and HR Generalist

Job Description
This individual will primarily oversee and manage the Resort’s entire winter recruiting program, including screen and refer qualified applicants to the departmental hiring manager or field recruiters as appropriate. They will create, track, and distribute job postings to job boards. Participate in job fairs and other off-site recruitment events. In addition to Recruitment activities, this person will also be in charge of onboarding new employees in to the HRIS system. This position requires a strong knowledge of California law, and must be friendly, outgoing, a self-starter and super comfortable with our various HRIS systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
 
Minimum of two years prior experience in Human Resources to include recruitment and/or staffing
  • Significant knowledge in recruitment technology, internet sourcing, applicant tracking systems
  • Familiarity with online recruitment tools; experience with Kronos Workforce Ready a plus
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and hiring of employees
  • Ability to take initiative; strong analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality at all levels.
  • Friendly, Hardy, Resilient and must LOVE snow!
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Draft an annual recruiting plan, including goals, tracking systems and candidate success measures.
  • Post open positions on job sites that are accurate and eye catching
  • Establish and maintain a local employment brand presence, including job fairs, campus recruitment and other community resources
  • Partner with hiring managers to perform recruitment activities
  • Appropriately and accurately, track candidate progress in the applicant tracking system
  • Coaching and day-to-day task management of Recruitment Coordinators
  • Research and recommend new recruitment methods
  • Monitor and report on key recruitment and retention metrics.
  • Reporting on vacant positions and recruitment strategies
  • Administer the employee referral program
  • Ensure legal compliance in recruiting practices
  • Processing of New Hires and Re-hires packets in to HRIS System
  • Office Management (filing, office organization, answering phones)
  • Work on various projects as assigned
