Our 37 public piers on Donner Lake are spread out along Donner Pass Rd. on the North Side of the lake. Enjoy some sun rays, have a picnic, and take a dip in the lake from the piers provided by TDRPD.
Parking is roadside along Donner Pass Rd. There is no overnight parking (strictly enforced) in many sections along the road, with parking prohibited between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.
There are no reservations available for the piers--they are on a first come basis. Most piers are large enough to share with two parties/households, provided at least 6' physical distance is maintained between them.
Please do not leave items overnight to try to ''reserve'' the piers.
