  • About

The Tahoe Mountain Resorts Foundation was formed by Mountainside Builders to enhance the communities of Old Greenwood, Gray’s Crossing and Northstar, and support regional environmental, educational, athletic and cultural endeavors. The Foundation cultivates our region’s vital spirit and augments the efforts of private business and public office. From funding world-class cultural activities and environmental projects to supporting local at-risk youth programs and disabled sports, the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Foundation is helping to ensure the region’s future is bright.

The Foundation’s robust community grant giving ethos is augmented by additional funds that are earmarked for the environment and specific Truckee communities.

    Tahoe Mountain Resorts Environmental Fund
Our dedication to protecting and enhancing the precious natural environment of the Truckee-North Lake Tahoe area is exemplified with the Tahoe Mountain Resorts Environmental Fund. This fund’s purpose is to grow and support initiatives regarding environmental education, natural resource and wildlife conservation, recycling, renewable energy and alternative transportation, either through direct implementation of programs, or by partnering with other groups and organizations.

    Community Foundations
These foundations exist to enhance the experience of living in the three communities of Old Greenwood, Grays Crossing and Northstar. They support a variety of community projects, fund donations to other non-profit organizations whose activities will benefit the community residents, and sponsor civic and recreational programs. These foundations have supported music, art and other cultural events for the benefit of each individual community as well as for the benefit of the Truckee community in general.
