ABOUT WILD & SCENIC FILM FESTIVAL
The Wild & Scenic Film Festival was started by environmental advocacy group South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL) in 2003. The festival’s namesake is in celebration of SYRCL’s landmark victory to receive “Wild & Scenic” status for 39 miles of the South Yuba River in 1999. The festival is now in its 19th year and goes on tour all around the world by partnering with like-minded environmental organizations such as MAP and is building a network of grassroots organizations connected by a common goal, using films to inspire activism.

WILD & SCENIC AUCTION
MAP is also hosting a virtual auction Friday, April 23rd to April 30th. The online auction is full of amazing items donated by Truckee-Tahoe businesses, who also care about the environment and community. All proceeds benefit MAP's environmental advocacy work and mission, to preserve the Truckee-Tahoe region's mountain character and natural environment for present and future generations.
