TRUCKEE, Calif. – May 27, 2019 – Off Road Tahoe will kick-off guided UTV tours through the backcountry at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. every day starting Saturday, June 15. Since last season, Off Road Tahoe has added another new, four-seat vehicle to its fleet of Can-Am Commander UTVs and can now bring up to 10 people on tours at once.

Guests drive private UTVs with a Wilderness First Responder guide leading the way from a separate side-by-side, stopping to tell guests about the views, offer water, snacks and everything they’ll need to bring some luxury to the backcountry.

Tours cover more than 20 miles of varied terrain in three hours, so drivers can let loose on wide-open trails and get more technical tackling loose rocks, creek crossings and small hills. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, whether they’re behind the wheel getting some throttle therapy, or riding passenger and taking in the views.

“There’s so much to do in North Lake Tahoe but there’s nothing quite like an Off Road Tahoe tour. All you need to do is show up, put a helmet on and hit the open trail; our guides are passionate about the area and getting people outside to experience that unique feeling of exploring a new place that you wouldn’t get to see on an average day hike,” said Sean Field, owner of Off Road Tahoe.

Tours depart a few miles from downtown Truckee and can accommodate groups of up to 10 people. Guests can book tours online or by phone and can customize their experience to include lunch and snacks or special arrangements to accommodate celebrations, photo shoots, team building events and more.
