QAS Customers Donate Dividends totaling over $1300
Truckee, CA: More than fifty customers of Quality Automotive and Smog donated their Red Check dividend to victims of the Paradise Fire, an amount totaling just over $1300. When Quality Automotive and Smog unveiled the 5% dividend program last spring it was designed as a loyalty program. Customers accumulate dividends that they can use on future services. At the time, Quality Automotive and Smog owners had no idea how popular the program would become. They also never imagined that the loyalty program would take this new direction and that customers would so enthusiastically give back the 5% they earned!
“We really value our customers and love that they were willing to join with us and donate in this way,” says Bill Greeno, owner of the Truckee business since 2009. The prospect of giving back by donating their dividend appealed to more than fifty customers with amounts contributed ranging from $3 to $120. The donation will be sent to the North Valley Community Foundation, an organization working directly with those displaced by the Camp Fire.
