Truckee Chamber of Commerce Announces 2019/20 Board of Directors

The Truckee Chamber of Commerce announces the election of five new board members. The Board provides leadership for carrying out the Truckee Chamber's mission of developing and promoting local business and tourism while improving the community’s quality of life.

The following members of the Truckee Chamber of Commerce were nominated to serve on the Board of Directors for a three-year term from September 17, 2019 through June 30, 2022. The nomination period ended September 13, 2019. As no other members were nominated, no election will be held and the nominated slate is now declared elected.
 
The Elected Slate:
Kellie Cutler, Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe
Tally Leontovich, Sierra Insurance Associates (re-elected)
Emily Vitas, Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation
Liz Wainscoat, Plumas Bank
Ravn Whitington, Porter Simon

These members will join the following Directors to complete the Board:
John Manocchio, Chair, Waddell & Reed
Ted Owens, Vice Chair, Tahoe Forest Health System
Pam Hobday, Past Chair, Pamela Hurt Associates
Roger Cardoza, Northstar California
Bill Greeno, Quality Automotive Servicing
Aimee Schaller, Aegis Insurance Markets

The Chamber deeply appreciates the service of departing director Kelly Wallis of Atelier. Kelly served a three-year term with the Chamber and provided a significant link to the art community as well as a keen business perspective. She will remain involved in Chamber programs as time permits, especially Truckee Tomorrow, which she has enjoyed being a part of.
