“The Chamber deeply appreciates the service of departing director Pam Hobday, Pamela Hurt Associates. Pam served on the board from 2013-2020, and as Chair of the Board for two years. Additionally, she served from 2010-2013 as an extremely engaged and contributing volunteer. Her fundraising and event expertise was invaluable in the development of sponsorships for our annual awards dinner. Her most memorable contribution will be her many years of leadership and vision for Truckee Tomorrow. Her energy and enthusiasm is contagious and took the Chamber on an incredible journey” said Lynn Saunders, President and CEO.

“We are excited about our two new directors. Jess Carr is keenly aware of our programs and has been a strong partner in producing several of our successful Knowledge Bites sessions. She is a strong advocate for the Chamber and her SBDC experience and involvement working with so many of our small businesses will be very valuable as we assist the business community in recovery from COVID-19. Chris brings a wide range of experience from managing commercial real estate leases and capital improvement projects, to overseeing environmental programs, transportation planning, and telecommunications infrastructure development. He has a solid and impressive background, strong work ethic and will provide the Board with a fresh perspective that will help in the development of programs that are relevant and valuable to our members” said Saunders. “We welcome our new directors who join a board of talented, long term critical thinkers dedicated to the future of Truckee.”
