Krista Wildberger, MPT - owner of Truckee Physical Therapy, graduated in 2001 from Bethel College in Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree in physical and health education. She then attended the physical therapy program of California State University, Northridge and in 2006 graduated with a Master’s of Physical Therapy degree.
Krista started her career in the private practice setting where she worked with a variety of patients dealing with orthopedic and neurological injuries, balance deficits and post-surgical complications. She then continued her career into the hospital setting working with patients diagnosed with various diseases and focusing on the basics of daily mobility.
In 2013, she had her first child and quickly learned first-hand the effects pregnancy and postpartum has on the female body. Krista then founded Female Physical Therapy in 2015 focusing on women’s health.
In 2018, Krista and her family had the opportunity to acquire Truckee Physical Therapy and work alongside: Laura Mohun, PT, ATC; Sabine Endriss, PT and Tom Deurloo, PT whom have been serving the communities of Truckee Tahoe since 1985.
Physical Therapists:
Laura Mohun, PT, ATC - former owner of Truckee Physical Therapy, received her BS in Kinesiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mount St. Mary College physical therapy school. Laura has been serving Truckee Tahoe communities since 1989.
Sabine Endriss, PT – received her degree in physical therapy in Heidelberg, Germany. She has specialty training in manual therapy, and specialty treatment for adults and pediatric patients with neurological impairments. Sabine has been serving the Truckee Tahoe communities at Truckee Physical Therapy since 1985.
Tom Deurloo, PT – graduated with honors from University of California, Davis with a physiology degree and from University of California, San Francisco in physical therapy. Tom also has received specialty training in pilates, ergonomics, movement control and manual therapy. Tom has been treating the Truckee Tahoe communities as a physical therapist since 1990.
