Town of Truckee is excited to announce winning a 2018 Helen Putnam Award for Excellence for the mini-Mousehole pedestrian undercrossing on State Route 89. The award was officially conferred at the League of California Cities Annual Conference in September where Mayor Carolyn Wallace Dee and Town Manager Jeff Loux were in attendance.

Established in 1982, the Helen Putnam Award program recognizes outstanding cities that deliver the highest quality and level of service in the most effective manner possible. This is a proud moment for the Truckee community to be served with an award recognized statewide in the category of Public Works, Infrastructure, and Transportation. Truckee’s Helen Putnam Award for Excellence will be presented at this Tuesday’s Truckee Town Council meeting at 6 p.m. along with a brief presentation by a representative from the League of California Cities.
