Mitch Clarin began his career as a landscape contractor in Long Island, NY, in 1975. After moving to California in 1989, he acquired his CA general contractor’s license in May of 1991 and set up shop on the west shore of Lake Tahoe which was later moved to Truckee, CA. Mitch received his CA Real Estate License in May of 1995 & CA Brokers License in 1997.
Mitch is committed to serving his community. He is founder and has held several board positions for the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe (CATT), Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors (TSBOR), and was the chair of the Tahoe Donner® Architectural Standards Committee (TDASC) for more than eight years. He is the 2005 Past President of the Rotary Club of Truckee and still serves as chair of the Local Government Affairs Committee (LGAC) for CATT, chair of the CATTPAC (Political Action Committee), and on the Local Government Relations (LGR) committee for TSBOR. Mitch is also a member of the National and California Association of Realtors®. In 2003, he was honored as the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors® Broker of the Year, the 2006 Volunteer of the Year by the Truckee Donner Chamber of Commerce and twice voted Builder of the Decade by the Contractors Association of Truckee Tahoe in 2009 and again in 2018.
